Together with the Love Object team, we filmed a music video for “Transparent Woman,” a song by Areola Models founder Dasha Utochka, with the support of the label Italians Do It Better Music.

The video is a kind of sideshow for the audiences, featuring character after character onscreen—each of whom is beautifully ugly and hideously beautiful, all in one. The action of “Transparent Woman” unfolds at a grim auction where people have gathered to bid on just one lot: Dasha. During the bidding, the characters begin to go wild with greed as each of them fights for the object of their desire. Still, they could not begin to imagine that this is all a farce, and just another one of Danya’s experiments. He is testing his subordinate, Dasha, who manipulates the consciousness of the people around her in order to bring them to a breaking point…

This kaleidoscope of stunning portraits and their paradoxical actions simultaneously entrances us like a thrilling nightmare while tacitly interrogating the problems of contemporary society.
