The video announcement for the Vasiliy Polenov exhibit was Antidrama’s second project for the Tretyakov Gallery (https://www.tretyakovgallery.ru/exhibitions/vasiliy-polenov/) 

We set ourselves the challenge of finding a place visually identical to the landscape in Polenov’s painting. That’s why we charted a course for the place where the great artist painted his masterpieces, near the Oka River.

More than a hundred years have passed since Polenov made his works, but the natural environment in those storied locations remains utterly untouched by time, and is just as clean and immutable as before.

It was important to us to capture this natural state suspended in eternity, giving audiences the opportunity to feel a kinship with something meaningful and divine.

The exhibit began with our video playing on a large screen, turning this work into the opening moment of the exposition.
